Pinotage Day 2026

 

It's that time again, Pinotage Day and to celebrate I'm going to unwrap my penultimate bottle of Vin de François 2017.

I bought a case of this at the release auction on 2 March 2019, detailed here .

Dear François Naudé passed away on 12 August 2025 so this wine will be drunk to both celebrate Pinotage and in memory of a brilliant winemaker, master of Pinotage and a good man.
