Boplaas Winery are calling on jumbo sized assistance in pressing their 2008 vintage. An elephant from Knysna Elephant Park will be stomping some grapes to be used in Boplaas’s Elephant range of wines, reports the Cape Times. Like most good ideas, it came to owner Karel Nel over a few glasses of wine with his friend Ian Withers who happens to own the elephant park. Proceeds from sales of the wine will go to aid conservation.
